Job Description:
  • Partner with Technology Team to identify new enhancements of the framework that could enable or improve the analytical apps
  • Apply machine learning and data science to solve Customer use cases
  • Make design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, security and future expansion
  • Expanding our Deep Learning framework into Deep Reinforcement Learning and other applied AI algorithms
  • Inventing new models that combine unsupervised and supervised learning
  • Developing new reinforcement learning algorithms to exploit novel use cases in retail recommendations and other IOT applications, industrial AR, robotics, and more
  • Cross functional support with teams in various business groups
  • Demonstrating superior proficiency in using complex tools, platforms, languages, and application programs utilizing superior knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products associated to the department
  • Utilizing and sharing industry expertise (e.g., healthcare, IT, ), understanding of the business unit (e.g., application support, code development, ) and the Company’s business
  • Creating application design and code reviews processes
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience with developing software in high-level languages, including C++, Python, Java, Scala, or Lua
  • 2+ years of experience with deep learning frameworks, including Caffe, Torch, or Tensorflow
  • Experience with applying several convolutional neural network algorithms, including R-CNN, LSTM, SSD, or RBM
  • MS degree in CS, Mathematics, or Physics or 3+ years of experience in a related field in lieu of an MS degree
  • Master/PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science Engineering, Data Science or Business Analytics
  • Data Science Modeling
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, R or C++
  • Culture Change Champion with a flexible analytic approach to achieving results
  • Experience with Hadoop, SQL and building multi-dimensional models
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (civil, chemical, electrical, or mechanical), science or other technical fields such as physics, biology, chemistry, earth sciences, mathematics and/or business administration, statistics or computer science
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering or 4+ year of experience in a scientific or other technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in documentation disciplines, including technical writing, editing, layout, documentation development and production, and desktop publishing
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Investigate the interactions of playback performance metrics (play delay, average bitrate, rebuffer rates, ) with each other and the effect on subscriber usage to help identify opportunities for algorithmic improvement
  • Build tools and visualizations to help explore these interactions
  • Provide expert advice and education in the usage and interpretation of data around quality of experience metrics
  • Provide decision-support to engineers and managers by creating dashboards, running queries, building predictive models – really doing whatever it takes – to support the analytical needs of the streaming platform organization
  • Design, build, and maintain all parts of the data warehouse infrastructure to support adaptive streaming analysis (requirements gathering, ETL, data modeling, metric design, reporting/dashboarding, etc)
  • Identify data quality issues and their root causes
  • Providing pre-sales and market support to Region and Product Line to boost UPG data analytics business in global market
  • Performing UPG system study in data analytics domain to support Product Line on technical feasibility and support development team with system solution and requirement analysis
  • Support product line to develop new business case based on telecom network data
  • Specifying and building proof of concepts and prototypes, for the platform running analytics on streaming complex datasets
