Job Description:
  • Deployment and management of EVDO devices over 3G/4G cellular networks
  • Basic Windows OS/networking administration
  • Production and maintenance of network diagrams and inventory database
  • Expert level troubleshooting and root-cause problem solving
  • Configuration/maintenance/upgrades of LAN/WAN and Wireless hardware and maintenance of wiring closets
  • Evaluate new technologies and make design recommendations for a more efficient and cost-effective network infrastructure
  • Experience in TCP/IP, UDP Multicast, OSPF, various WAN network mediums, legacy network systems such as SONET, LightWave ATM and TDM multiplexers, network timing systems, Local and Long-haul circuits and vendors.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Application of TCP/IP routing and switching principles to practical solutions
  • Understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP and DECnet/OSI
  • Knowledge of BGP routing protocol
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and troubleshooting connectivity issues required
  • Multi-level troubleshooting and root-cause problem solving
  • Local and Wide Area network design and topology
  • Installation/configuration of LAN and Wireless hardware and maintenance of wiring closets
  • Management of Cisco and other hardware, including consumer-grade routers and switches
  • Monitoring with standard network management and packet analysis tools
  • Planning, implementation and administration of perimeter security and firewalling
